welcome to the new SOLIDWORKS CSWP exam preparation course. In preparation to teach this course, I took the latest exams to make sure all the course information was relevant and focused on you passing the exam. This course is for the new CSWP exam that is debuting at SOLIDWORKS World 2018, and I built the examples based on that latest exam. We will start with a skills review chapter to refresh your knowledge on the key topics tested in the exam.
All of the most essential skills will be covered, like equations, linked variables, convert and offset entities, the shell tool, the hole wizard, material properties, and finding the center of mass. You will learn how to assign the correct materials, units, and coordinate systems so the end results are correct. This course will cover the three segments of the exam. In segment one, I will walk you through efficient modeling techniques and show you how to use equations and linked variables to drive your parts.
